Dr. Daniel Otten acts as Grouplead Data Science and Advanced Analytics at Debeka Insurance Group. He leads the group's activities with regard to Data Analysis and Application of Data Science and AI. He used to be a researcher and PhD student in theoretical physics. His research was focused on mesoscopic physics and quantum information.

I like my work, because I am a great AI fan. I was always fascinated by the human mind and its capabilities. For me AI is the approach to apply these capabilities to interesting problems in my work and company. This way I have the chance to dig deeper into understanding AI and at the same time, optimize processes for my company.
