Diethard Frank studied Business and Computer Science at the University of Reutlingen and started at Festo in 1999 as business consultant for Finance and Controlling, responsible for many SAP R/3 rollouts worldwide. Diethard Frank gained his work experience at Festo in many different roles, as team lead business intelligence, senior business intelligence product manager for Finance and Platform and furthermore as principle consultant for business intelligence innovations. Currently he is responsible to build up and implement the Big Data Analytics strategy including a Data Science Lab. The integration of Big Data Analytics into the digitalization program and the IT enablement of artificial intelligence for the Festo digital roadmap is key responsibility.
