After my PhD in theoretical chemistry I started to work with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and classification of digital images, way before the Deep Learning revolution of image analysis. During the past 20 years I have done applied research and development of Open Source algorithms in Machine Leaning the majority of my time. Two years ago I changed to Big Data analytics applied to streaming data from Edge devices.

Pop of the job:
For me personally the greatest challenge, but also the most gratifying aspect of the job, is all the opportunities that we see with Big Data data analytics. We have identified hundreds of use cases and I am sure that they are just the beginning of an exciting transformative journey into becoming increasingly data-driven.
