Peter Lund Sepstrup has been with the LEGO Group for 4 years and always in the data space. Currently heading the Data Platform department, responsible for all the core components and infrastructure as well as responsible for the engineering teams building our self-service solution. Before taking on the role as Head of Data Platform, Peter has been heading the operations team building the first implementation of a Data Lake at the LEGO Group. Before joining the LEGO Group Peter has been working different positions in the IT industry, focused around telecom, media and educational software and always with a touch of data. Peter has strong roots in the engineering world, working as a software engineer in different positions, and later with product and people management.

I am fortunate enough to work for not only a great company, but a company that has a mission to bring joy and our products still brings a smile on my face and it is a daily joy to know it brings many smiles on kids around the world! Being in a great place to begin with, my daily motivation comes from the big impact the LEGO Data Office has on the whole company and how our work plays an important role in the mission to reach even more children.
