Prof. Dr. Carsten Felden is a university professor at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg in Saxony. He holds the professorship for ABWL, in particular information management/business informatics. In teaching, Prof. Dr. Felden focuses on business intelligence and predictive analytics. Central research topics are work in the field of analytics, data warehousing, process analysis, XBRL and analyses in IT maturity models. He is chairman of the board of TDWI Deutschland e.V. He has published articles in international scientific journals and conferences and written books on topics in the field of decision support. He is also a reviewer for numerous national and international journals. In addition to his scientific work, he advises various companies on the above-mentioned topics.
